Mr. Lipton has been a practicing attorney since 2010, focusing on representing individuals and small businesses in proceedings under Chapters 7, 11 and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code, In addition, Mr. Lipton has been involved in restructuring proceedings including workout arrangements and out of court settlements in connection with insolvency related matters. Prior to joining Parker & Associates, Mr. Lipton worked as an associate at law firms where he concentrated in consumer bankruptcy and consumer protection litigation matters.

Mr. Lipton lectured at the 18th Annual New England Bankruptcy Law Conference 2016 for the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education as well as for the 10th Annual American Bankruptcy Institute Northeast Consumer Forum. In addition, Mr. Lipton published articles on a variety of bankruptcy related issues including for the American Bankruptcy Institute, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education and the Boston Bar Association.

Mr. Lipton volunteers his time representing indigent debtors through the Volunteer Lawyers Project of the Boston Bar Association and was a member of the 2014 Pro Bono Honor Roll for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts. Mr. Lipton also participates in the Boston Bar Association's Mary Ellen Carpenter Financial Literacy Program, helping to educate area high school students about financial management and responsible use of credit.
